Founder and CEO Rollins Montgomery grew up in the steel industry and ran a private fleet before opening Montgomery Transport in 2011. That experience gave him a unique perspective on the way a trucking company should serve its drivers and customers. That history has been the basis of a culture of innovative programs to support the well-being of our drivers and customers.
Our goal here isn’t just to make things better for our drivers and customers but to transform the way trucking is done, sharing Montgomery Transport's commitment to service and safety for the benefit of the industry.
I've been fortunate to work for a steel manufacturer that has built their business on service. Having personal experience as a shipper has really encouraged me to implement rewarding principles and policies to make sure we’re taking care of one of our most important assets — our customer base. In order for a shipper to have reputable service levels, they must solidify themselves with solid transportation partners and demand great service and quality standards.
At Montgomery Transport, our employees are truly team members who work hard together every day. And we are careful when we select new people to add to our team. We seek those who want to grow and be challenged in the logistics industry. We have an enjoyable office environment and believe that life is too short not to have fun.
Montgomery Transport's office staff get to enjoy complimentary lunch on Fridays from our very own food truck, Breaker 1-Swine.
